SLC best language site say Friesians

Meindert Tjerkstra, the head of online development for Friesian language organisation, Ried fan de Fryske Beweging, has described the Scots Language Centre’s web site as, ‘the best language site I have seen’.
In a message on Scoto-Friesian co-operation sent to the SLC last week, Tjerkstra said the site was 'so professional' and much better than many of the sites that exist to support Friesian language and culture. Tjerkstra also praised the Scottish government for the support they give to Scots.
Michael Hance, Director of SLC, said he ‘couldn’t wait to pass on the message to the Centre’s staff. They do a wonderful job and it hasn’t always been easy to get to the place we’re at now. We’ve always believed that the SLC had developed one of the best language sites online – to get confirmation of that from Friesland was a great way to start the new year.’
