Supplements to Scots Dictionaries
27th June 2016
The Dictionary of the Scots Language (DSL) Supplements Project is currently managed by Scottish Language Dictionaries editor Ann Ferguson. This project involves work in merging earlier supplements of the Scottish National Dictionary stretching back to the 1970’s. As part of the project the SLD team have been conducting outreach meetings with schools and community groups who are interested in working with the language so that future resources and materials may be shaped. Ultimately, materials designed for adult learners of Scots will be available online. The SLD is very keen to build on discussion sessions held so far, and further develop pilot materials produced, and so has invited those who would like to share ideas, and increase awareness, to contact Elaine Webster. Elaine may be contacted at Elaine.firstname.lastname@example.org .
