Calling all Glaswegians!
28th July 2011
An Edinburgh University postgraduate student would like to hear from Glasgwegian speakers of Scots and Scottish English. Sydney M Tichenor is currently working on a dissertation describing the ways in which different communities in Scotland see and feel about both Scots and Scottish English dialects. As part of his research, Sydney would like to meet and interview Glasgwegians between the ages of 40 and 60, who were raised in the city and still live and work in Glasgow today. The meetings would involve a 10-minute questionnaire and a couple of tests related to speaking Scots and Scottish English. If you would like to take part during August, Syndey would like to hear from you. He can be contacted either by e-mail at email@example.com or by phone on 0759 4862 597.
