A new Scots language and literacy course has been launched in Lanarkshire.

The Hamilton Advertiser reports that the programme, run by Hamilton and Clydesdale Community Learning Service, will consider "vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation and help those taking part improve their literacy and discover the Scots language’s rich linguistic roots."
