The Scots Language Society will be holding its annual collogue and AGM on Saturday 4 June 2016 at St Mathew’s Church hall, Tay Street, Perth from 10am to 4pm. The theme for the collogue this year is ‘Tak Tent o Weemen’ which looks at the work of various women writers in Scots. The speakers will be as follows: Frances Robson (10.20) on Marjory Fleming, Elaine Morton (11.00) on Christian Isobel Johnstone, Lisa Simmons (11.50) on Violet Jacob, Aimee Chalmers (14.20) on Marion Angus, and J Derrick McClure (15.00) on Violet Jacob and Marion Angus.

Between the speakers there will also be a break for lunch, Sangschaw 2016 prize giving and readings (12.30) and the AGM (14.00).
