Fae Ploo t' Plate - Trailer

This is the trailer for a DVD called Fae Ploo T Plate filmed in Aberdeenshire which charts the corn grains life from being sown by happer on ground ploughed and cultivated by the Clydesdale horses. Harvested by scycle scythe reaper of the 1890s and the binder. The stooks are lead to the ruck by the Clydesdale horse again and in the spring the corn is threshed by a steam engine powered threshing mill. The farmes grain is taken to the meal mill to be made into oatmeal. The meal is made into oatcakes on a peat fire with the girdle hanging from the swie. The DVD features the Doric dialect.
