Tea With Clarinda

Tea With Clarinda is a play written by Anna Hillis about the two women in the life of Robert Burns, his wife, Jean Armour, and his romantic correspondent Nancy McLehose. Hillis imagines what would have happened had the two women met after the death of the poet. Much of the dialogue is in Scots. The play was written to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns, and also Homecoming Scotland 2009, and will be touring during the summer of 2009 as follows:
