Alistair was a finalist in the BBC Radio Scotland 'Young Traditional Musician Of The Year' Award in both 2011 and 2012, and has won the Traditional Music And Song Association's ‘Young Singer Of Merit' award. The first of March 2012 sees the release of his CD 'Leaves Sae Green'. This is his first album and shows his commitment to Scots song, and in particular ballad singing.
