Hogmanay

The best known Hogmanay songs are ‘A Guid New Year tae ane an aw’ and, of course, ‘Auld Lang Syne’. Here’s another one that we think deserves to be better know. Hogmanay is a poem by the gifted 20th century Angus writer, Violet Jacob. In this recording it’s set to music by Arbroath loon, Steve Byrne. Doesn’t it give a great flavour of New Year in Scotland? Why not share it with friends?
