Neeps and Tatties

Scottish charity Nil by Mouth has arranged for a new reading of the children’s book, Neeps and Tatties, to be made available for use by parents, carers, teachers and schools.

Written in Scots by Edinburgh-based author Carey Morning and illustrated by Anna York, ‘Neeps and Tatties’ tells the story of two warring vegetable tribes who are finally encouraged to put the past behind them in the interests of a better future.

The most recent version has been narrated by singer Iona Fyfe. Another version, narrated by Charlie Menzies, is also available.

Nil by Mouth have printed copies to distribute to schools, or a pdf version is available here.
