Welcome for new Scots language web site
People from across Scotland have given a warm welcome to the Scots Language Centre's new web site. The site, which went live on 1 October, has already received hundreds of visits. Reactions to the site have been overwhelmingly positive.
SLC Director, Michael Hance, said, "I'm very pleased with the reaction we've received. The site took a long time to get right but I think our hard work has really paid off. Now we must work to develop the site further. I do hope people will keep coming back to the site to see how it develops. Next month we are hoping to have some Christmas treats for visitors. We're working on a special version of the site right now and hope to have something on it to please everyone.".
