New collection of children's rhymes

9th March 2017

On Saturday 4 March 2017 an exciting new collection of children’s rhymes in Scots was launched at an event held at the Scottish Storytelling Centre, in Edinburgh. Called Auld Sangs for Bairns & Wee Weans, this collection has been selected and edited by John Thor and Annie Ewing and represents the first new collection of traditional rhymes in Scots for over forty years. The book contains traditional nursery rhymes with music and guitar chords and we feel sure that schools and parents alike will want to check this new, invaluable collection of material.

The book, by Welkin Books, is distributed by Ingrams, Gardners and Bertrams, and is available in most bookshops or through Amazon. For more information please visit the Auld Sangs Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/auldsangs .
