Dare to Dream

22nd August 2016

Individuals, groups and communities across Scotland are being invited to take part in a unique event called Dare to Dream. The project – billed in English, Gaelic and Scots - which runs alongside the International Storytelling Festival (21-31 October), will run from 1 September until 31 October. Artists, storytellers, community groups, schools, libraries or any others dealing with cultural, social and environmental issues, are invited to host local events to discover local stories and dream up possibilities for our shared future. You can either create your own story, or invite a storyteller to your local group.  On 27 October all Scottish citizens are being invited to share their dreams online at Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as part of Dare to Dream Day.

Any group can register to participate and download a Dare to Dream toolkit by visiting the event website at www.daretodream.scot . All groups who register will see their events appear on the Dare to Dream map.
