What the Ladybird Heard

Another treat for children is on the horizon as Julia Donaldsons What the Ladybird Heard is translated into Scots. Well known author James Robertson has now produced a version called Whit the Clockleddy Heard, together with illustrations by Lydia Monks. The paperback tells the story of two robbers who plan to steal a farmers prize cow and encounter all kinds of mischief at the hands of the ladybird, or, as described in Scots, Twa sleekit thieves, yin wee clockleddy, and a haill fermyaird o fun!
