Broadcasting Conference

The Eden Court Theatre in Inverness is hosting a conference by the UHI Millennium Institute called ‘Voices of the west: Minority Languages in Broadcasting and Education.’ Among the speakers will be J Derrick McClure regarding ‘The State of Scots’ and Lesley Riddoch from BBC Scotland on ‘Programming in minority languages – the Scots persespective.’ Registration costs £25 (or £15 concession) and any one with an interest should enquire with Dr Donna Heddle on donna.heddle@orkney.uhi.ac.uk or phone 01856 569247
