In September 2008 Edinburgh City Adult Education Department is running an evening class titled Storytelling in Scots. It will be held at Tynecastle High School, Edinburgh. The course is aiming to help people revive their spoken Scots language in a supportive environment and experience in storytelling is not required. The course tutor will be James Spence, writer and storyteller. He emphasised the inclusive nature of the course, "Everyone with a background in spoken Scots is welcome, as are those living outwith Edinburgh."
