Sheena Blackhall’s novella, Gods of Grayfriars Lane will be podcast on the Scots Language Centre’s website from September 2010 to June 2011. It is also available on iTunes. Set in a provincial Scottish town at the start of the twentieth century, it is a rich depiction of the way of life and language in the town and country at that time, and the many changes Scottish society was undergoing. This novella contains English text and Scots dialogue
