Concert in Scots at Newburgh

‘Sangs of the Scottis Reformatioun’ will continue with its third concert of 16th century song in the Scots language, conducted by Andrew Macintosh, and with readings in Scots by Dr Jamie Reid Baxter. The third concert will take place in Newburgh Parish Church, Fife, beginning at 3pm. This will feature the work of 16th century composer Thomas Wood, and readings from the historical writings in Scots of Robert Lindsay of Pitscottie (near Ceres). Admission costs £5 at the door.
