YA DANCER!

Ther's monie wurds in Scots that we aw luve, that's mair expressive (tae us) nor their Inglis equeivalents - dreich, snell, braw, crabbit; awbodie's got their favourites, an ther's mair nor I hae space or time tae list here.

But for me, jist nou (efter twa in the morn), haein jist cam hame frae seein the michty Airdrie ding Hearts out o white'er they cry the League Cup thir days (they maun be seik o sicht o us in cups, by they wey, we'r yit bogie team for thaim) there can be nae better wey tae pit across whit I'm feelin nor skellochin YA DANCER at the tap o ma lungs. Haimmered thaim 0-0, syne beat thaim on penalties. Actually ther's a guid monie mair wurds that fowk tend tae pit in along wi "ya dancer", for ordinar stairtin wi F.

Ya dancer. Airdrie's on they wey tae Hampden/ we'r gonnae dae it again....
